Film tells the story of Janko Kadava, whose father was arrested in 1949, convicted and executed as a "class enemy". The mother died shortly after his father and Janko remained only grandfather. The story takes place in two time levels and looks like "disintegration" in the tragicomic episodes from ptp military service and bitter childhood memories, full of iniquity by classmates and adults. The only bright spot of Janko´s memories is his grandfather. Wise and honest old man who raised him after the death of his parents in a small village.
